Our Mission: Bridge the gap between research and development, creating resilient communities and healthy ecosystems.
HaMakuya, South Africa suffered systematic underdevelopment during the apartheid era and now is recognized as a national poverty node. These ramifications manifested into multifaceted challenges that affect the livelihoods of the local South African people. While over 20 years of research has been done in the area, the data have never become anything but data. We aim to bridge this gap by partnering with local communities to co-create sustainable, on-ground development initiatives.
